Meditation: Your Recipe For Success

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

This scripture is your recipe for success. "The Amplified version says: This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success." Notice it didn't say "God shall make your way prosperous," but that "YOU shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely in the affairs of life and have good success." But for this to happen, you must meditate on the Word.

This is what many haven't learnt; the importance and power of meditation. The subject of your meditation should be consistent with the provisions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Meditating on anything else that's not consistent with the Gospel will not produce lasting results.

Meditating on God's Word often, will make you deal wisely in the affairs of life. You'll become circumspect and penetratingly perceptive; you'll have extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. The wisdom of God will function in you so much that when you make decisions or take actions on anything, it will be just right. Learn to consciously meditate on the Scriptures. In Psalm 119:97, David said, "Oh how I love the law! It is my meditation all the day." No wonder he was so successful and dealt wisely as king over Israel.

As you think through, talk and shout God's Word in meditation, you're programming yourself for the upward and forward life, and your success will be apparent to all.

CONFESSION
God's Word is in my mouth and in my heart today, working in me and producing results in every area of my life. The Word of God has made me wise unto salvation, and the forces of success, prosperity and divine health are let loose in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Grace Brings Acceptability

And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house... And it came to pass from the time [that] he had made him overseer in his house... that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field (Genesis 39:4-5).

I've heard of people who went for job interviews and were turned down because the panelists disliked them. I also know that they're people who have endless lists of sour relationships they've developed over the years. These experiences are absolutely unnecessary for the child of God who understands the working and power of God's grace; for grace brings acceptability.

The Bible lets us know that God has made His grace available to everyone of us (Ephesians 4:7). Grace is the lifting power of God which makes you accepted, preferred and celebrated everywhere you go; people just love and choose to favour you. Some people don't know this, that's why they whallow in self-pity when they think people around them don't like them. No! That's when to put the grace of God in you to work.

The grace of God will attract the right people, materials and resources you need to function in God's destiny for your life. This doesn't mean everyone will like you, but every well-meaning person will. Look at Jesus, the Bible says multitudes came to Him and heard Him gladly. Even the little children came to Him and heard Him gladly. Even the little children came to Him and He never turned them back. If graces is at work in you, you'll never have stories of depression or disappointment; rather, you'll have a divine aura surrounding you that'll attract the right people and situations to you. With this grace, you'll always rise above those who dispise you.

Never struggle to be accepted at work, in school, at home or anywhere! All you need is recognize that the grace of God is upon your life. Instead of saying "Nobody likes me in this place," change your confession to "Everyone I meet likes me because God's grace is at work in me."

When God's grace is at work in your life and you're conscious of it, even your detractors would notice and not be able to ignore or deny that there's just something excellent and beautiful about you.

CONFESSION
The grace of God is at work in me today; therefore everywhere I go I am highly favoured, for I carry the presence of God. I am growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The beauty of God in my spirit is bursting forth on the outside in an undeniable fashion. Excellence, glory, virtue and success are the hallmarks of my life. Hallelujah!

Snatched From Twitter! Easter: The Life Of God, imparted to YOU!

On Monday 25th April 2011, said:
Why was it necessary for Jesus to sacrifice Himself for you? Is God that hard that He can't just forgive and accept you?

Well let's go back to the beginning, first man, Adam, fell into death because of two reasons: disobedience and the acceptance of an evil report.

See, God created man in his class to begin with. He gave man the ability to fellowship with him, to use the laws of life to fulfill his desires, to have dominion over the inhabitants of earth and earth's nature itself etc. But the evil one came to man, told him "hey, God is keeping things from you, don't you want to see/understand the things He's using to prevent you from being like him?"

A lie, and man accepted it. He received into his spirit, a picture of evil. So what was the ensuing result? He saw "his follies", his "nakedness", his "imperfections", his "defeatedness". He willed over his dominion to the evil one. His sences dictated his experiences and as a result, he no longer saw things the way God does. He's now unable to function the way God does. He died.

Now understand, death doesn't mean the physical separation from our bodies. Remember I reminded you that we're spirits and spirits don't die, well not now anyway. But Adam died. That's because death means separation from God. Being cut off from the source of LIFE is death. If a plant gets uprooted from the earth, or a fish finds itself outside of water, it's life source is removed.

Now I am hoping you understand who (and what) God is. God is the Spirit of LIFE itself. He is the Spirit of LOVE, GOOD, TRUTH and the Spirt of LIGHT.
The absence of Light is what? Darkness(ie chaos, confusion, evil, ignorance etc) ,The absence of Love is selfishness, The absence of Truth are maladies, diseases, death, destruction, disasters etc.
Now if you've removed yourself from the knowledge of God and walk according to your sences (seeing things that are "wrong" with you) you've plunged yourself into darkness, allowing the evil one to control you.

Adam, being the first man, left a legacy of death to all that would come after him. So God, loving man and wanting to reconcile man unto Himself(Light, Life...) sent His Word.
His Word became flesh, dwelling among us. That Word, you may very well know, is the Personage of Yeshua, The Annointed One (also known as Jesus the Christ).

Now Jesus was 100% man and 100% God at the same time. God had to take on the form of man in order to legally function in this material realm. Remember, God gave man dominion in the earth and since he's a Spirit, It's not legal for Him to function here in that form so he had to become man.

His (i.e. Jesus') task was to take back the keys of death and hell and release man. He told you that when he said "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows)." (John 10:10 (Amplified Bible)). He came to give life back to man. The life eternal.

He was here walking as man(he got tired so he slept, got hungry and ate etc).
The night he prayed in the garden of gethsemane, he told God that wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of death. He said "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me..." Why? Because death means separation from God and Jesus had never been separated from God before. He is the Word of God, and one doesn't separate a person from their word. Being separated is pure agony. The Spirit of God would depart from Him and He would be left as 100% man only. So he could've refused. He had free will. He could've said no. Yet, he humbled himself unto death. The rest of that statement is "...Yet not as I will, but as you will" (Luke 22:42)

This was the ultimate sacrifice. So Jesus, entirely man, zero percent God, descended into Hell. When the evil one saw Him, he knew something was wrong. This was a man who knew no sin(ie faithlessness, and selfishness) so it had to be some kind of mistake. Nevertheless, Jesus, son of man, defeated the devil. In fact he made an open show of flogging the evil one. He took the keys Adam had previously relinquished, and placed it squarely back in the possession of man.

Jesus is the second and last Adam. A life giving spirit.

So the question is, if that's true, why do men still live in misery? They've either failed to accept the keys he retrieved (by believing on Him and what He did) or they've not yet renewed their thinking as to what that means.

What does eternal life mean to you? Jesus rebuked winds, told seas to be calm and they obeyed Him. He healed the crippled, the blind, raised the dead. He excercised His God-kind dominion that man/the first Adam lost sight of. Notice that whenever He performed those miracles He called Himself the son of man. That's to let you know that you as a man should copy Him because you'll get those same results.

He left His Holy Spirit with us to embolden us. To Teach and guide us. To protect us(especially while some of us are still blind).

Receive His Life into you!

The Holy Spirit Is With You FOREVER

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever (John 14:16).

Some Christians think the Holy Spirit sometimes goes on a break, or takes a recess just because at such times they don’t “feel” His presence. You don’t have to “feel” God to know that He’s with you. Rather, you ought to know that He’s with you always, because the Word says so. Jesus said, “…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20). He didn’t say, “I’m with you only when you can “feel” that I am.” Many have reduced their experience of Christianity to the carnal realm of feeling, and that so wrong, for we walk by faith and not by sensory perceptions (2 Corinthians 5:7).

But you might want to ask, “What if someone, having received the Holy Spirit at the New Birth, backslides and feels that the Holy Spirit has left him or her, is this just a feeling or was the Holy Spirit actually frustrated with all the sin in such a person?” Well, God is not a man (Numbers 23:19), and He doesn’t act like some earthly parents who wouldn’t relate with their kids for doing something wrong. Sadly, this is the poor perception of God that some folks have.

That you did something wrong won’t make the Holy Spirit leave you. Remember, you weren’t made right with God because of your own righteousness; it came because God gave you His righteousness. Thus, His presence with you isn’t dependent on what you did right or wrong, or the way you feel. His presence is dependent on His infallible Word; because of His love! That’s the reason He’ll never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Read again the words of Jesus in our opening verse, He said “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever” (John 14:16). God the Father, through the Holy Spirit abides with you forever, not sometimes. Don’t consider what your feelings tell you. As long as you haven’t willfully rejected Christ and His sacrifice of salvation for you on the Cross, the Holy Spirit cannot and will not leave you!

Even when you err and start feeling as though the Holy Spirit has left you, it’s still the Holy Spirit who guides you unto repentance, proving His presence with you even at such times. If He left you, you could never return to Him. But He wouldn’t, for He’s with you to fulfill His ministry in your life, till Jesus comes. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Precious Lord, I thank you for the rich fellowship of the Holy Spirit which I enjoy lavishly today, and forever. What joy to know that I’m ordained into this wonderful union and fellowship with you for eternity! Amen.

We're The Salt Of The Earth!

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men (Matthew 5:13).

Besides its other uses, salt is a preserving agent. For example, it preserves against putrefaction of food. So when the Lord Jesus likened us to "the salt of the earth," He was letting us know that part of our function and purpose in life is to preserve the earth. The moment you were born again, you stepped into the words of the Master: you became the salt of the earth. Your presence in the earth is still being preserved from total decay.

The unregenerated man, according to the Bible is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9); wicked enough, and capable of destroying himself. But we're the reason evil has not overturned the entire world; we're the force restraining satan from unleashing terror on the earth. The prayers of the saints today and in the days gone by have restrained and will continuosly frustrate the evil machinations of the enemy, until the rapture of the church.

Refuse to let evil run riot around you, for you're God's man (or woman) to initiate and effect positive changes in your sphere of contact. For example, your presence in your family is for the preservation and salvation of every member of your family! Your presence in that neighbourhood, school, working-place or estate is for the salvation and preservation of the people there.

Continue steadfastly in prayer and in soul winning, for the time is short. It won't be long till the master returns to take His Church out of the earth. Until then, we must continue to dominate this world! We must keep frustrating and paralyzing the works of the adversary, for it's our God-given responsibility.

CONFESSION
I'm the salt of the earth. I was called and chosen to give purpose and meaning to the lives of men and women in my world. I was born as the answer to the cry of many, and I'm responding to that call by impacting my generation with the knowledge of Christ's salvation. I forbid the enemy from functioning and perpetuating evil in my sphere of contact, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

You’re The Real Superman!

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…(Acts 1:8 AMP).

Did you know that there are true supermen, superwomen, and super-kids on the face of the earth today? There are people with divine, dynamic, and supernatural abilities. No, they don’t fly around in the sky nor go about in red capes with a large ‘S’ emblazoned on the chest, but they sure have super-powers such as are not displayed by ordinary men.

If you’re born again you’re the superman I’m talking about. God has conferred on you such powers, abilities, gifts, strength, rights, might and privileges that you can only be described as extraordinary and supernatural. You’re the real “superman.” It’s important you understand this to be your true identity. Sadly, most Christians don’t even know half the truth about who they really are, and that’s because most have never been taught.

Anyone who thinks Christianity is for the low and down-trodden, the poor and weak-minded who always cry to God in helplessness and hopelessness, doesn’t know who the Christian is. The Christian is by all means a superman. He’s one with whom anything is possible, because he has received from the Spirit of God the dynamic ability to change any hopeless situation. He’s one who’s been given authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). That “one” is you!

Jesus also said in Luke 10:19, “…nothing shall by any means hurt you!” Thus, it doesn’t matter how harmful, poisonous or evil that thing is, the truth is, it doesn’t have the power to hurt you. This is akin to what He said again about you in Mark 16:18, that if you shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you, and when you lay your hands on the sick, they shall recover. Why? Because you’re not ordinary! You’re not of this world! The life of Christ in you makes you supernatural.

Be conscious of your true identity in Christ. Recognize the divine ability, efficiency and might that the Holy Spirit has brought into your life, and live with the consciousness of the superman that you are!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the life of Christ in me that makes me superhuman! I recognize your divine ability, efficiency and might that’s at work in me today, and by virtue of the divine life of Christ in me, I declare that I’m superior to satan; and nothing shall be impossible unto me today, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Trelan's notes:
Remember, whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose in earth is loose in heaven. I said that to remind you that it is your responsibility to agree with the God's Word so that nothing by any means can hurt you. For things to have dominion over you, you have to acquiesce or allow it.  When you stand against it, it has to obey you and flee (Resist the devil, and he will flee from you -James 4:7).

When you accepted God's Holy Spirit, do you know the power that came into you? (But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. -2 Corinthians 4:7). But you have to be conscious of it so keep saying it until it gets into the core of you, becoming a mindset. The Bible doesn't advocate the renewing of your mind for no reason. (And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:2).
Otherwise it'd be like having millions in the bank but going shelterless, hungry and living like a pauper. You have to always be aware of the immense power you've got in you and use it!

Copy Jesus

He must increase, but I must decrease (John 3:30).

This is a very powerful expression in the Scriptures credited to John the Baptist. He was talking about the Lord Jesus, and he said, "He must increase, but I must decrease." If only you'd catch this vision with your spirit and become more of Him and less of yourself.

Remember, the Father said of Jesus, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him"(Matthew 17:5). Jesus is the fulfilment of the Father's dream; He is our chief example. So if we're going to please the Father, we've got to be like Jesus. We've got to copy Him and let our character sink into His character so much that people will begin to say we look just like Him.

John declared that "as He (Jesus) is so are we in this world" (1 John 4:17). The question therefore is, Who is He? Jesus is the living Word. He's the absolute personification of Wisdom. When He walked this earth, He forgave, blessed, healed, raised the dead, embraced sinners, and changed lives. He was such a marvel, and He hasn't changed (Hebrews 13:8). Our knowledge of who Jesus is helps us know who we are and how we ought to live. When the Holy Ghost reveals Jesus to you from the Word and you get to know Him more, you'd love Him more and become more like Him. Then you can think, talk, and act like Him, because you've got His Word in you.

You know, sometimes in prayer, I tell God, "I don't just want to be a 'preacher'"; I want to be like Jesus. I want to do what He did, think like Him and love people the way He did." This should be your desire too--to see the real value of people and love them for who they really are. Some don't know who Jesus is and who they are in Him, but you can help them discover themselves and realize their true worth. As you help others discover who Jesus is to fall in love with Him and become like Him, you also become more like Him.

So let Jesus be your example in everything. Copy Him and you'll be an outstanding success anytime, anywhere!

CONFESSION
I take after Jesus because I am born of His Word. As I study and meditate on His Word, I become like Him more and more. I do the same things He does and get His kind of results every day. My life only goes in the direction of the Son of God. Therefore, I'll never fall in life; I can only be a marvel and an outstanding success, just like Jesus. Hallelujah!

"Build Up Yourself On Your Most Holy Faith"-- Pray In The Holy Ghost!

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, (Jude 1:20).

When you hear the Word of God, faith comes to you, for the Bible says, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God"(Romans 10:17). In other words, your faith is stirred and moves to a new and higher level each time you hear the Word of God and the Spirit of God unveils the revelation to your spirit.

Now, when your faith is elevated to a new and higher level in this manner, the next new level becomes your highest level of faith for this particular time. However, some Christians don't always live their lives from that peak point of faith. That's the reason the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Jude, admonished that you build up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. He's letting you know that praying in other tongues is a way to keep your faith at high peak all the time.

Thus when you've attained that high level of faith, which is the result of the unveiling of God's Word to your spirit, instead of retrogressing and operating below that level, you can build yourself up! You can remain established at that peak point of faith by praying in the spirit.

This is one reason you ought to pray in tongues often-- especially when the revelation of God's Word dawns on your spirit, and your faith is stirred. That's the way to established yourself at the high level of faith which the Holy Spirit has brought you into! That way, you'll find yourself always operating at your best.

PRAY

Dear Father, I thank you for your faith that is stirred in my spirit each time I hear your Word. I also thank you for the wonderful privilege of praying in the Spirit, by which I get myself built up and establish at the high level of faith which I attain as a result of receiving the revelations of your Word. I declare I'm strong in faith, and living in continuous victory, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

The Mirror Principle Of God's Word

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:25).

Some Christians have difficulty believing and acting according to God's Word because they think God reasons like a man. God is not like man; we're the ones called to be like Him; to live and act like Him. "How is that possible?" You may ask, well God has made this possible through the mirror principle of the Word.

The opening scripture reference typifies the Word of God as the mirror of God. The Bible says anyone who hears the Word of God and does not do it, is like a man who sees himself in a mirror, turns around and forgets what he looks like (James 1:23-24). In other words, God expects you to hear His Word and do what it says. But the problem is many don't know how to do the Word of God.

Now, the mirror principle of the Word is that you see yourself as what God sees you to be in His Word, and then act accordingly. It simply means acting the Word. How easy it is to do the Word of God! For instance, in the Word, the mirror of God, He says, you're a new creation in Christ Jesus. That is God's image and reflection of you. See that image and endorse it. Act like it's true; for it's indeed true. Again He shows you in the Word you're righteousness of God-see it so. That's His image of you.

Seeing yourself in the Word-the mirror of God and acting accordingly is the way to live in the reality of your inheritance in Christ. That's how to enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. I urge you today, keep look into the mirror of God; keep studying and listening to the Word of God. As you do, you'll be transfigured to become more and more like the glory you see in the Word. This is the mirror principle of the Word.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you because your Word is my life, therefore it's natural for me to live in and by the Word. Today, your Word is working mightily and producing results in me because I'm empowered to do what it says, therefore my profiting through the Word is manifest unto all, In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Expect Answers When You Pray!

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Luke 11:10).

You have every right, as a child of God, to expect answers when you pray (John 15:16). But if you pray to God doubting, you're not going to get anything. James 1:6-8 says, "...But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

To be double minded in this context means to vacillate, to waver or stagger at the promises of God through unbelief. Such a man, according to God's Word, can't receive anything from God, for it takes faith to receive from Him: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

There's no use praying, if you don't expect God to answer. God asked us to pray because He wants to answer. One of the reasons some people don't expect answers when they pray is that they remember all their sins and failures as soon as they get on their knees to pray and become overwhelmed by self-condemnation. Self-condemnation will dissipate your faith; never allow it to get a hold of you.

The way out of such quagmire is to build yourself in God's Word. 1 Peter 2:2 says, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." The Word of God can build you up in righteousness: "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith..."(Romans 1:17). You need to renew your mind with God's Word and strengthen yourself in His righteousness. With the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ, you can confidently ask anything of the Father, in accordance to His will, and expect Him to answer, and He will.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the life and nature of righteousness and you've given me. Not only does your righteousness give me the ability to do right, it makes me stand unblameable and unreproveable in your sight. Therefore, I pray today, knowing I've been ordained to receive answers to all my prayers, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Prophetic Prayer

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions (Joel 2:28).

When you worship God, His Word begins to come forth from you with power and authority to bring on a change in your situation. This kind of prayer is what I call "Prophetic Prayer." A classic example of prophetic prayer is Jonah's prayer to God when he was in the belly of the fish: "Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple"(Jonah 2:1-4).

In his hour of desperation in the fish's belly, Jonah still wanted to see the glory of God. He wanted to see Jerusalem, the city of the great King, where God's temple was. This is 'Prophetic Prayer' and it's important for the believer to pray this way. In prophetic prayer, you declare what will be; you declare what's going to happen, because the power is in your mouth! You speak the will of God into being by the supernatural inspiration of the Holy Ghost!

Romans 4:17 tells us God calls those things that are not as though they were. You are yet to see tomorrow, but God knows tomorrow. He has already seen your tomorrow; to Him, it's already in the past. He's not planning on your tomorrow; He's not going to do something about your tomorrow. He's already done all that needs to be done about it. How comforting it is to know that we serve the living God who knows everything about tomorrow.

Don't be moved by your present circumstances; they are lying vanities. Jonah considered everything around him and called them lying vanities. Those adverse circumstances are a lie, so don't observe them. Just as Jonah did-begin to worship God and declare victory even in the midst of that seeminly hopeless situation.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Word of life in my mouth. I declare in the name of Jesus that your Word is prevailing in my world, and righteousness is increasing in every nation of the earth, and everywhere is covered with the knowledge of your glory. Hallelujah!

Learn To Receive When You Pray

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Matthew 7:7-8).

The Lord Jesus was always vivid in His communication; He said what He meant and He meant what He said. In Matthew 7:7-8, He said, "...everyone who asks receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will be opened " (TLB). So how come some folks don't receive when they pray?

You see, the Lord Jesus taught us how to pray and how to receive answers. Many have only learnt to pray because religion teaches them to pray, but they haven't learnt the faith way of receiving. Praying without receiving is religion and religion gives you nothing!

Prayer wasn't meant to be a religious formality. Religion will compel you to pray as a rite and discourage you from receiving answers to your prayers. Religion can also make you see your prayer as an avenue to get God to do something for you. This can only bring frustration when there are no answers! In Mark 11:24, Jesus said "...What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." In other words, when you pray, believe that you have received and then you shall have whatever it is you asked for. That means, when you pray, God answers, but you're the one to do the receiving. How? By faith!

Here's how it works: let's say you've prayed and asked the Lord for a particular thing; if you truly believe the words of Jesus, you ought to rejoice and declare immediately, "Glory to God, I've got what I've asked for!" Even though you're yet to see it with your physical eyes, you begin to act like you've already received what you asked for, right from the moment you prayed. That's how to receive when you pray. I recommend that you get the book "How To Make Your Faith Work," and learn more about the principle of receiving, and the faith-attitude in prayer.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me today to receive answers when I pray. As I pray right now, I am exceedingly joyful because I know that I've already received answers to my requests and petitions in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

God Relates With You Personally

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7).

One exciting thing about our relationship with the Lord is how he relates with each and every one of us personally. Sometimes, people think God relates with them according to numbers. Some people believe for instance, that if they have more people praying for them, God would respond to them faster. Such people are ignorant of the Bible; else they would have remembered that at one time, everyone in the world was destroyed by flood with the exception of Noah's family.

God relates with you according to your faith, not according to numbers, or how many you are in a group. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6). Your faith is the basis of pleasing Him; it's got nothing to do with numbers. Some others think of numbers differently; they feel okay to know they're not alone in their sufferings. You hear them make such comments as, "twenty of us were laid off from the company" or "so many of us in the class failed." That's not right. You're not supposed to view life from that perspective. Life is personal, likewise your salvation and your relationship with God.

Don't use the experiences of others to determine the flow of your life. It matters how you hear and respond to God. Don't ever think He sent His Son to die for the world because we were so many; if you were the only one on earth; Jesus would still have come to die for you.

God loves you as a person; He knows your name and relates with you as a unique individual. Nobody was ever like you before you were born; nobody is like you today in the world and nobody will ever be like you. You're the only one of you that God has ever had and will ever have. You're personal to Him and special. That's why He loves to relate with you personally.

CONFESSION
I'm God's divine masterpiece, made in His image and likeness. I've come to understand that I'm unique and God relates with me in my uniqueness. Thus, I go about my business today, conscious of the fact that I have all of God's attention and He loves me personally. Hallelujah!

It Starts From Within

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:24).

The word "receive" as used above is the Greek: lambano; and it means to seize or take hold of something and make it yours. This kind of receiving is done first from within, that is, from your spirit. That's because faith is from your spirit, and if you must change anything in your situation or circumstance, the change must begin first from within.

The Bible declares in Romans 10:10 that ''...with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you need a miracle, or want to see a change in a particular situation, you must believe and receive it first from within. In other words, you must see the invisible first.

I remember when, as a little girl, our younger daughter was diagnosed with a paralytic condition. My husband and I refused to accept it; instead, we chose to see the invisible. We listened to faith-building messages everyday; and our faith was stirred, we got up, paced the floor, declaring, "We refuse to fear, in the Name of Jesus. Our daughter is walking, in the Name of Jesus!" We prayed, laid hands on her limbs, and spoke God's Word to her body day and night, like this, month after month. Guess what? She was healed, and today she's a walking miracle!

But back then, even when she couldn't walk, we refused to see or call her anything but healthy and strong. We saw her walking first from within. You must see that change or miracle you desire first in your spirit. If you've been sick, you've got to picture yourself healed and doing all what you couldn't hitherto. Take hold of your healing from your spirit and then declare it by faith in the Name of Jesus. You can do this for just about any situation in which you want to see a change. It's a principle given to us in God's Word and it works every time.

CONFESSION
My spirit is flooded with the light of God's Word, and I see and apprehend what belongs to me by faith. Therefore I declare that I live in divine health and prosperity; I enjoy success and victory every day, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

Frame Your "Aion" (How to repair your life)!

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3).

The Greek word translated "framed" in the opening scripture is "katartizo," which is to repair, frame, perfect, mend, or restore. In other words, through faith we understand that the
worlds were repaired, framed, mended, restored and perfected by God. This lets us understand the power of faith because that was how God framed the visible world from the unseen.

Another word to study in the opening scripture is "world," which is translated from the Greek word "aion." "Aion" refers to the structure and administration of one's life; how things go with you from day to day, including how they affect your hopes and aspirations. It is the world's system with respect to socio-economic structures and environmental management of a period in history, including its arts and sciences.

The creation account in Genesis informs us that God made the whole world by speaking forth His Word. He called forth light, land and sea creatures, as well as everything else that He made. He had inside Him the kind of earth He desired but He needed to speak forth the Word to bring to pass what He desired. Each time He spoke, the Holy Ghost acted on those words and caused what God spoke to appear.

As God's children, this is also true about us, for we're made in His image and in His likeness. There's a creative power in us. A divinely enabled ability to create the kind of life or environment we desire. We can order the circumstances of life to conform to the image we conceive in our spirit. We can alter our destinies and change the course of our lives by speaking words in faith and calling forth the things we desire to see in our lives.

This is the key to recreating one's life and living in victory continually. Start speaking and calling forth today what you want to see in your life and the Holy Ghost will incubate on your words and make them a reality. Thus, it doesn't matter what has happened in your world-your "aion"--you can recreate your world! You can frame-- perfect, mend, or restore everything in your "aion" by declaring faith-filled words.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I declare in the Name of Jesus that the lines are falling unto me in pleasant places; I'm experiencing fruitfulness, peace, prosperity and productivity in every area of my life, for you have perfected all that concerns me! Therefore, I experience absolute success and victory today, and declare that everything in my aion is perfected in line with your will and destiny for my life. Amen.

Trelan's notes:

This is something we must do EVERYDAY if we desire continuous victory and blessings in our lives. Nothing "happens" to God, instead, God makes things happen. As an offspring of God, never allow stuff to just happen to you.

What, you think I'm speaking rubbish because "life happens"? No. Nothing can successfully happen to you unless you allow yourself to be subject to it. Look at King David's lament when his cousin, Abner, got stabbed in the stomach- a surprise stunt pulled by his murderer: "And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?"(2 Samuel 3:33)
David was saddened that a strong warrier like Abner, not bound or fettered, allowed himself to be killed like that. Yes I said allowed. David was a very spiritual man, said to be the man after God's own heart. He understood things of a spiritual nature so if he thought Abner could have prevented his death(despite the fact that it was a suprise attack, an ambush of sorts), he knew what he was talking about.

As God's very own, it is your duty to order circumstances in the morning before you leave home, however, if something came upon you at unawares, don't allow yourself to be intimidated or fearful. Instead, SEE the desired results and SPEAK them; believing that you're being heard by the most high God who loves you.
Never think that negative situations or circumstances are God's way of teaching you a lesson. Instead, recognize that there's something that you're ignorant of, then seek to find out what you are yet to learn or do.
Again the steps to changing circumstances:

1.picture the end results you desire(the outcome of any circumstance)
2.Speak it(it has to agree with God's Word-which is always love and faith)
3.Believe you've been heard and answered
(and you demonstrate this by giving thanks to God).

The Dimensions Of God's Love

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

To be filled with the fullness of God is dependent upon our comprehension of the dimensions of God's love: the breadth, length, depth and height of the Father's love.

The "breadth" of God's love refers to the width or coverage of the Father's love. How wide is it? Who does it include? John 3:16 gives us the answer: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God loves everyone in the world, even the worst sinner. Thus if you comprehend the magnitude and infinitude of that love, then you too can love everybody you meet genuinly.

The "length" of God's love refers to the extent or limit of the Father's love-how far can it go? Can it pursue the worst failures? Can it be stretched limitlessly in the face of provocation? The answer to all this is an emphatic YES! God's love is limitless and doesn't give up. No wonder Jesus said you must forgive if a brother offends you seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21-22). Your love must know no limits.

The "depth" of God's love refers to the intensity of His love: "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the intense love which He bestowed on us, caused us, dead though we were through our offenses, to live with Christ..."(Ephesians 2:4-5 WNT). His love is so intense that, even when we didn't want Him, He accepted us and eventually won us over! This should be your love-attitude; this should be the character of your love; you must love others passionately and intensely as God does.

The "height" of God's love refers to the loftiness of the character of your love, beyond human weakness. It means walking in love at God's high levels of excellence. It means letting your love rise above the criticisms of others! It means walking in high levels of God's love that the bitterness of others can't drown it. Your love ought to be so lofty that nothing of this world could make you condescend to the low levels of hate, backbiting and malice.

Do you want to be filled with the fullness of God? Then, you must function by the dimensions of God's love. Stay at the high level of love that thinks and talks differently; you'll be amazed at the workings of God in your life.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I pray that you would grant me, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthen with might by your Spirit in my inner man; that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of your love and to fully comprehend the love of Christ, which surpasses mental knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fullness of God, in Jesus' Name.

Take God At His Word

...So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it(Isaiah 55:11).

Have you ever heard a fellow Christian make comments like "if it's God's will for me to be healed, I'll be healed," or "whatever will be will be." They seem oblivious to the fact that God has already given us His Word to live by. God's Word is not just an account of historical happenings but the revelation of Himself and His eternal purpose for man. His Word is full of power and the divine ability to produce what it talks about. Always take God at His Word.

So efficacious is the Word of God that it always prevails; it never returns back to Him with an excuse of inaction. The knowledge and understanding of God's Word is imperative in our relationship with Him. When you study and understand the Word of God, you'll not entertain any doubt as to whether it's His will for you to be prosperous, healthy and successful in life. Instead of asking such question like "is it God's will for me to have this or have that," you'll simply take Him at His Word and expect what the Word says about you will come to pass.

I urge you today to take God at His Word! Trust in the integrity of God's Word; accept His Word as a final authority concerning any situation. Let the Word of God be the regulator of your life; simply believe and accept that you're who God says you are, you have what He says you have, and can do what do what He says you can do and it will produce for you what it talks about.

CONFESSION
My spirit is attuned to the Word of God. Every time I receive the Word, my faith increases and produces greater results, and my spirit gains the ascendancy over the situations and circumstances of life. I can never be defeated because my faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Hallelujah.

Righteousness Versus Right-living

For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sins; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthains 5:21).

One day, I asked a born again gentleman: "Are you righteous?" He paused to think for a while and replied, "I am working on it."
"So, how are you going to know when you are finally righteous" I quizzed him further. At that point, he didn't know what more to say. Like that gentleman, many chrstians don't think they are righteous because they equate righteousness with right-living. They look at their actions to rate their righteousness. But there is a difference between the two concepts.

The Bible says "....if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which recieve abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:17). When you received Christ into your hearts, God gave you the righteousness as a gift. It's not something you worked for. Righteousness is the nature of God that is impacted to your human spirit that produces in you the ability to stand before God without guilt, inferiority or condemnation. Righteousness is that nature of God that produces in you, the rightness of God, and gives you right standing with God. Now, right living on the other hand is doing what is right and required of God as a way of life. They are not the same.

Right living is the product of righteousness. No man could live right until he's first of all righteous; God can only require a man to live right after that man has been made righteous. This is the reason He imparted righteousnes to you freely. The ability to do the right things can only flow naturally from a righteous person. Now some of your actions may still be imperfect but that doesn't in any way impact on your righteousness. What you need do is get the Word of God into you and righteousness will find expression through your actions.

When you were born again, you became as righteous as Jesus is, for you were made righteous with His righteousness. You can't be more righteous than you are right now, for God's roghteousness is perfect which is what you already have in Chríst--and you can't improve on perfect. That righteousness is in your spirit, and it produces in you right living---the ability to do right!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for impacting righteousness into my spirit, therby making it possible for me to live and function rightly in life. That righteousness has brought precision and excellence into my life, enabling me to do the right thing always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Cut it out with the Word!

And take...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

Some years ago, I noticed a small growth in my body, but instead of voicing concern about it, I addressed it and said, “I cut you out of my body in the Name of Jesus!” I said everything I knew to say from God’s Word to it, but it was still there and it felt the same.

However, I had learnt a long time ago that the Word of God is more real than the world in which we live. I kept saying the same things until a whole week passed. It looked and felt like the growth was still there. But then, every time I felt it, I addressed it differently and said, “I’ve cut you out; you’re gone!” Two weeks passed and I had somehow forgotten all about it. Then one morning, while I was in the bathroom, the growth just dropped to the floor. I looked at it and picked it up; I had cut it out of my body, with the Word!

You may wonder, “How in the world did that happen?” Well, it’s very simple. The Greek word for “mouth” is “stoma,” which means “the front or edge of a weapon.” So when you confess God’s Word, in the realm of the Spirit, you’re literally cutting the devil down with a sword! That’s because “the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

When you take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, you can cut any growth or disease out of your body. There’s no surgeon’s scalpel that can work as effectively and precisely as the sword of the Spirit. So put the Word in your mouth today and use it to cut out anything you don’t want in your body or in your life.

CONFESSION
My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, therefore, no sickness, disease or infirmity can lodge in it. I cut out any disease-germ or growth that tries to attach itself to my body, in the Name of Jesus, and I continually glorify God in my spirit and my body as I walk in divine health today. Amen.
