The Truth About TRUTH --Part Two

 The Holy Spirit, also known as the Spirit of Truth (John 15:26), changes the state of things. He leads you into ALL truths (as continued from Part One).

The truth about lies
You know, this world is covered in wickedness because people unknowingly speak curses everyday. Disasters, plunders, wars and rumours of wars, perversity and corruption all run rampant because people are ignorant of the fact that they're prophesying evil into the world. Listen, people who ignore the knowledge of God never recognized they were given the ability to function like God in the earth, which is to create. As a result, they conjure up wild imaginations, fuel it with words, emotions and actions in the direction of such curses, and if you're not constantly recreating and fortifying your world, their world will bump into yours!

But there are forces behind the chaos this world has been propelling towards. Ephesians 6:12 tells us clearly "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.", and the rulers of the darkness of this world are agents of satan. Satan has convinced people that he's a god, which is to say, a creator and magistrate, so some have knowingly gone to work on his behalf, believing that they have rewards stored up. Vanity. But can I tell you, they are deceived.

Jesus rebuked some of the devil's servants; "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." The devil is only capable of deceptions. He's not a creator so he can't generate disasters of his own, however, he uses those who can: people. Through people's own innate abilities to create, coupled with their ignorance of God's truth, he's influenced them to spread wild imaginations to the masses via vehicles of entertainment; resulting in destruction in the world and people's lives.

Listen, satan influences influence-rs.
J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" teems with darkness, and sent to the minds of children to seal them into a life-time of bondage (because whatever you look at/give attention to/as you would a mirror, you become). The fact that the author is an atheist  makes her that much more agreeable to influence because she's voluntarily hidden herself in darkness. (Funny thing is, she copied the story structures of a man of God, CS Lewis, to purvey darkness). Such people receive temporal "rewards" in this realm in exchange for eternal damnation in the realm to come. But their rewards are short-lived because they are storing up riches for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22).

Through lies, the devil managed to switch the concepts of good and evil in the minds of many. So earlier and earlier people are becoming less and less able to discern good from evil. I remember some years ago, I sat on a bus with young teenagers, between 13 and 14 years; they cajoled each other about how boy they knew was "gay" or "was being gay". One girl, a small, slim little black girl, sat stoic. When half the other teens left the bus she said to her friend "I'm not joining you in dumping on (whatever the kid's name was) for being gay. There's nothing wrong with being gay." She thought her position was noble! She saw herself as being a defender and protector of some excellent cause. Little did she know that she was defending the indefensible! Oh poor girl!

This is why Christians should put forth mass entertainment films that profess the Gospel of Christ. (No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. -Luke 11:33)

But the devil is cunning, he's described as subtle in Genesis 3:1 (Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made...), not only does he go after children (who imagine greatly), or raise up media giants (like authors, filmmakers, musicians, talk-show hosts and newscasters), but he goes after Pastors too! (I told you earlier that he goes after influence-rs, didn't I? ). He brings self-image questions to them, ("Are you really qualified to teach people when you blah blah blah blah? Are you worthy of God's favour when last week you did blah blah blah blah?") and if that doesn't work, he accuses God to you or Question God's character and if the Pastor wasn't fortified in God's Truth, that is both God's Word and Spirit, he's susceptible. Satan is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10).

A thorn gets lodged in the flesh but doctors can't find it, so they convince you the pain you feel is all in your mind. This is the same way a person's perspective of himself gets mal-formed after corruption gets into his soul(via environmental influences).

God's TRUTH is the solution
But when a man acquaints himself with the knowledge of God and become friends with the Spirit of Truth, he's impervious to all the fiery darts of the wicked one. In Ephesians 6:10-18 Paul says as much when he said:
"10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

As for me, like Paul, I say "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel" (Ephesians 6:19)

In Luke 10:18-19 the Holy Son of God first looked into the heavens(spiritual realm) at satan's position (falling like lightening) and asking us to also see the ensuing results, said "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, is the secret behind Jesus' strength. In  Matthew 22:29, Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit (John 1:29-34) and had keen awareness of who He was (the Word of God), because while He walked the earth, He walked as a man and would have been subject to the same temptations, except for His knowledge of who He was (Matthew 4:3-7) and the Spirit of God who brought Him the anointing of God and made Him the Christ.

The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all.  He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.  Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.  (John 3:31-33)
